Welcome to Administrative Council

The Administrative Council represents the ideas, interests, and welfare of unclassified administrative staff members* of ˿��Ƶ Tech.

The Administrative Council:

Serves in an advisory capacity to the President and other administrators
Promotes collaboration and shared governance through representation on President's Council, Faculty Senate, and Fiscal Operations Advisory Council
Considers appropriate campus-wide issues where the input and/or interests of unclassified administrative staff are relevant, and makes appropriate recommendations regarding these issues
Reviews proposed ˿��Ƶ Tech policies and procedures and advises appropriate parties accordingly
Strives to strengthen connections between unclassified staff and the university community

*Definition of unclassified administrative staff: employees of ˿��Ƶ Tech that serve in unclassified positions.

Kudos Award

Each month, the Administrative Council accepts nominations for the Unclassified Staff Kudos Award. An individual is eligible for a Kudos Award if they are an Unclassified Administrative Employee, on any campus, and one or more of the following apply:

they have gone above and beyond to help a student, colleague, customer, or constituent
they have contributed to a positive work environment
they have demonstrated a strong work ethic
they have exhibited through their actions a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusiveness
they have shown commitment to furthering ˿��Ƶ Tech's strategic plan

At various times throughout the year, classified staff are also eligible for Kudos Awards. Nominees must meet the above criteria.
