Congratulations to Brandon Wright (Communication Studies, U.S. Army) who was recognized by PAVE - Peer Advisors for Veteran Education as Team Leader of the Month for his work with ˿����Ƶ Tech Student Veterans Program, helping student veterans navigate college and receive peer support.

Five student teams competed in Catalyze Klamath Falls to turn their product ideas and prototypes into real businesses in Klamath County, winning a pool of more than $18,000.

Congratulations to Sarah Hillaire, who placed second in the technical paper competition at the 2021 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Pacific Northwest Student Conference. Her paper and oral presentation articulated the ways the civil engineering profession should respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sarah supported her contention that civil engineers should be considered essential workers on the basis that civil infrastructure is critical to maintaining the primary functions of society and delivering vaccines, supplies, and treatments quickly.

The Medical Imaging Technology Programmatic Application for the 2021 selection year is OPEN, with the deadline for applying May 7th.

Dr. Naganathan’s efforts to further position ˿����Ƶ Tech as a top tier engineering school are absolutely necessary and a welcome sight. As an alumni, I would like to extend my support and trust in what he’s working towards, in the small way I can. I know there are others from my class that agree. #goowls #oregontech
